Why Men Over 40 NEED To Take Creatine Monohydrate!

Why Men Over 40 NEED To Take Creatine Monohydrate!

3 Reasons For Men Over 40 To Take Creatine.

1️⃣ Increased Athletic Performance.

Creatine is a naturally occurring compound within you body, and is one of the building blocks of energy in your muscles.

To actively fire your muscles, for example, during sports or exercise, you use ATP (adenosine triphosphate).

ATP is then broken down into ADP (adenosine diphosphate). Creatine is used to turn ADP back into ATP, allowing longer and stronger muscular performance.

2️⃣ Increased Muscle Mass.

This benefit is linked to the above, as an increase in performance means you can push yourself harder and for longer during workouts.

Doing so allows you to break down your muscle tissue, and recover quicker, leading to increases in muscle mass.

This is particularly important for men over 40, due to normal muscle wastage occurring after the age of 35.

3️⃣ Improved Cognitive Performance.

Creatine has been shown to have a positive effect on cognition, particularly in older adults, and those with high stress levels.

Supplementing with just 5g each day, in your morning shake, or mixed with water at breakfast, can help with these positive benefits.

I highly recommend starting to supplement with creatine today.

It’s one of the least expensive supplements on the market, but offers so many benefits!

I think in addition to all the known physical advantages of creatine, it’s also purported to increase brain health and acuity in older adults. I’m 68, take 5 grams/day, and am absolutely certain it’s helping me with mental clarity – which (like muscle) begins declining with age.😎👍

I’ve trained since I was 15. Never taken anything other than the odd protein shake from time to time. I’m 47 now and just started taking creatine. I feel so much better. My fatigue is gone, I’m very focused and really enjoying my weights and cardio again. I’ve just been taking 6 grams a day for about 3 weeks. I wish I’d started it sooner!

    Small Problem With Creatine…

Consuming Creatine Monohydrate as a powder mixed with water typically requires around four to six grams per serving. The large serving size is required because stomach acid converts the majority of consumed creatine into a useless byproduct; this byproduct is also the primary cause of water retention and bloat, two commonly noted side effects when using standard creatine monohydrate.

These adverse effects are easily avoided by protecting the Creatine Monohydrate as it passes through your stomach acid into the intestine, and only then, depositing the creatine at just the right pH level for your body to fully absorb the Creatine un-changed.

    The DRS Capsule Solution

With World A.B.S pH-Creatine™ our mission is to protect the creatine from the stomach acid using the most effective method possible. Our unique DRS (Delayed Release System) capsules are designed specifically for acid sensitive ingredients and proved to be the perfect solution to Creatine’s acid sensitivity.

The benefits of using pH-Creatine™ in DRS capsules Vs standard powder creatine consumed in water are:

60% less Creatine Monohydrate required per serving

    No front loading needed

    No bloat

    No water retention

Can creatine be taken on an empty stomach before my workout? I’m starting my workout in a fasted state so I just want to know what to expect. I usually take it with a meal or a post workout smoothie.

I never took creatine just until recently (39y old) and it really makes me bang out more reps or even add another set when working out. Also, as I am currently in a caloric deficit it seems to do a good job of making me less fatigued.

  20. @wallacesawkmie6430 on August 14, 2025 at 8:03 am

You might want to add the importance of hydration while taking creatine.
