If you’re getting 0.7-0.8g of protein per lb of bodyweight you will build muscle fine, 1g per pound is unnecessary
Then eat quinoa and beans as sides will compound the protein amount with fiber.

i just eat 2 meals a day and hit above 160g protein.
breakfast after workout:
3 eggs 19g protein, 2 wholemeal organic chia bread 12g, yogurt 200g 15g, protein smoothie with whole milk 300ml and 1 scoop protein powder 26g+10g from milk 36g = 82g protein nearly 50 to 60g carbs.
dinner: 300g breast chicken or 250g breast chicken minimum 80g protein with 3 wholemeal roti 20g protein= 100g lol … and 100g carbs.
I am 6 feet tall and I am 73kg with 16% body fat. i need carbs bcs if i eat less carbs i feel lazy and tired. I tried removing carbs till 50g per day but as i am not overweight. I need carbs for my workouts 🙂

I can’t eat whey gives me migraines. I have to eat more than twice my protein powder to equal one serving of whey protein and I just can’t do it
