They examined the effects of a diet high in veggies, fruits, and low-fat dairy. They also reduced the level of saturated and total fat they were eating. Following this diet led to reduced blood pressure in people with hypertension.

A fruit and veggie diet can also help fight diabetes. A study conducted by the American Diabetes Association focused on 70,000 healthy female nurses between the ages of 38-63. It showed that eating fresh fruits and veggies reduced the risk of developing diabetes in the future. Drinking things like fruit juice on the other hand increased it.

Fruits and vegetables are also good for the eyes. A study on the effects of fruits, vegetables, vitamins, and carotenoids was done to see how it affected age-related maculopathy, or ARM. This is a disease that affects the back of the retina. People who are affected lose their ability to read, see detail, and recognize color. The study found that eating fruits was linked to a lower risk of neovascular ARM.

Now, if your goal is simply to lose weight, two of the best things for your body are fruits and veggies. Any effective weight loss diet will have them.

They’re low in calories and rich in nutrients, which make them some of the best fitness foods. Just keep in mind that some fruits and vegetables are considered to be better for you than others. A 2015 study found that foods rich in fiber and low on the glycemic index are better for shedding pounds.

    Sugar and carb addict. I’m skinny so I never cared. Cookies dark chocolate pizza dr pepper coffee. I mean years. Got diagnosed my kidneys have " innumerable cysts" I have fibroids and cysts in my uterus. I was swollen waking up. My back hurts daily very painful. Brain fog and grumpy fatigue you name it. I walked slow stiff and crooked. Thought at 45 it was normal.

    ONE DAY ONLY I heard cruciferous greens only with lots of ginger and fresh garlic might help the kidneys . Keto diet could help …All raw…. So my hubby and I were laughing in my car for his lunch break as we literally ate these one by one not even making a salad just straight eating it because he was hungry and I had no time to prepare. He literally ate half a ginger root and two garlic four brussel sprouts half arugula box lol and had tears coming out his eyes lol we were laughing like kids BUT IT WORKED we stayed keto that night and the EXTREME DIFFERENT DAY the next day.
    NO PAIN NO BACK PAIN NO FATIGUE IM STANDING STRAIGHT UP I FEEL FANTASTIC he said he was going to only eat this and made me get more lol 😂 I had to tell him to balance it but just a cruciferous lunch changed us not dramatically in 24 hours. We also took walnut hull pills for parasitic detox from our local health food store " solaray black walnut hull " we feel amazing!!!!!; it detoxed us dewormed us and pulled out our toxins and stopped our inflammation!
    Yesterday I was looking at all the sugary foods everywhere and had to cover stuff it look away lol and it was only day ONE!! today I DON’T WAT IT BECAUSE I KNOW HOW SICK IT MADE ME!!!

    3 dates a day is all your daily iron needs. Funny how this video tried to put fruit an vegetables down an push people towards meat egg an dairy the worst foods for us on the planet. B12 is a bacteria in the soil so the animals you eat don’t wash their vegetables they eat it with dirt on it so there’s the secondhand vit b12 we can take it directly from a supplement instead and also because the soil over most of the world has been so heavily sprayed with poisons to kill insects an bugs it’s also killed most of the b12 bacteria so even most meat eaters are b12 deficient

    I have a condition called PKU where I’m not allowed meats or lots of breads etc. my diet consists of fruit and veg / potato’s etc. I’ve always had a super nice figure and weight for my 5ft3 height. 🙂

    Onestamente tutte le verdure fanno bene tranne le tegoline e qualunque tipo di fagiolo, perchè effettivamente questi due non sono verdura ma carboidrati e legumi e no alle patate normali ma solo quella dolce. Il resto della verdura va bene soprattutto se bollita.

    I will naturally lean toward a non meat diet at times without realizing it. I notice once I break from it and have meat, I feel more full, more energetic and focused. I don’t love meat but it is harder to be productive for me at least on only fruits and vegetables which I love and prefer over other food types. Eating the flesh of a dead animal is so odd and it is really hard to get good, fresh fruit where I am. Partly because I live in the laziest most disconnected state…ever…they don’t really care and the fruit is usually molding on the stand. Without meat we’d need to constantly graze and would be far less productive.

    My gramps is deep in his 90s. Eats and drinks whatever he wants. Travels. Calls salad ‘ rabbit food ‘ rarely drinks water. Loves to walk. Honestly. Some people are just built different
