    Got them recently
They are good, comfortable, stable, good looking.
I feel good with them for weightlifting and gym, still need time to use them for CrossFit.

I always wondered why his brand is called Thavage, thinking what it had to do with Mike Tyson? but now that I heard him speak I understand.

Haven’t bought yours yet, but learning from you, I started walking around with wider toe box shoes and brands. A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. Now that I know it works, I’ll be buying a paid of yours when I’m ready to get back to lifting.

Sox i found slip and the sox may stay in place but the foot slides. Barefoot has to be with stickey bare feet

  15. @Julián-Castillo-86 on October 1, 2025 at 10:39 am

It looks like you’re barefeet, but must be as comfortable as it gets.

Do you make a running version of these shoes?

  24. @nemilperez5441 on October 1, 2025 at 10:48 am

These look like whitins that i just tried where the back of the shoe doesn’t hold your foot in when you take a step

  25. @josuevalar6465 on October 1, 2025 at 10:49 am

Why not just use vivo barefoot shoes?

  26. @baokimng on October 1, 2025 at 10:53 am

  27. @jsolorio07 on October 1, 2025 at 10:55 am

  29. @nhoskins25 on October 1, 2025 at 10:57 am

    I use 5 finger vibrums

  30. @Success.Science on October 1, 2025 at 10:58 am

A gym staff (possibly 40 yo male) at my gym told me off for squatting on socks, he said the floor gets contaminated (I have worked as a microbiologist for 7 years in the past, socks could be way cleaner than heavy traffic gym floors). But in the later weeks, doesn’t tell off uncolored women who do the same 🤷🏾‍♂️ I did report it and they just denied the fact, wonder why? Anyways, I can squat heavier without shoes, which gives me more stability (more than squat shoes) so I am gonna try barefoot shoes.

  31. @piangoful on October 1, 2025 at 10:58 am

How about treadmills? Does your shoes go well

  32. @SnazzyParesh on October 1, 2025 at 10:59 am

My gym: you have to wear shoes, it’s a liability
    Me: deadlifting 525lbs.
A thin piece of cloth isn’t going to make a difference if that barbell smashed my foot

  33. @scbtripwire on October 1, 2025 at 10:59 am

Note to others: always use shoes on a treadmill, otherwise it’s like sandpaper on your feet. 😬 I only realized that I had bled all over the gym’s treadmill, afterwards.

  34. @AL--gm8sl on October 1, 2025 at 11:00 am

    @Squat University
Is your shoe company ever going to distribute domestically within Canada?
The duty fees from ordering within the US cost as much as the pair of shoes themselves !!!

  35. @Believer-of-Jesus-Christ-14 on October 1, 2025 at 11:00 am

Please, can someone tell me, if you wear socks with barefoot shoes? If so, what type of socks? So I can buy some, please and thank you. God bless you!

  36. @miss.imerica on October 1, 2025 at 11:01 am

But do you make them in black?

  37. @jl5177 on October 1, 2025 at 11:03 am

    Way overpriced!

  38. @lanmassingill9180 on October 1, 2025 at 11:04 am

I never notithed thee bum hath a lithp

  40. @joshuaroiland1571 on October 1, 2025 at 11:06 am

With my clients I recommend whitins for regular lifeless and nike metcons. We also use squat/oly shoes for olympic lifts and thee squats, deadlifts, and barbell lifts. The metcon 9 has a wider toe box than the previous metcons and are good for my clients who don’t have the foot strength for the barefoot shoes. While coaching I demonstrate with sock-shoes on (whitin) and while training I use metcon 9s I am a weird in-between of barefoot (daily life) and shoes with different purposes. There are also days we practice balance and basic work barefoot. We just don’t work too heavy barefoot. Just my two cents. Not trying to cause a fight. Let me know what you would do for severe arthritis to the point clients can’t workout/would leave if they feel pain. It is better in my opinion to get them support during the workout, and convince them of the barefoot life outside the gym. One of my hardest clients to convert to barefoot just bought 5 toe socks, and toe spreaders so it has worked for the non-believers haha

I am a flat footed and i have a orthodic sole. Do u think i dont need it for lifting weights? If yes, do those sneakers accommodate my orhodic soles?

  46. @RickardL2v on October 1, 2025 at 11:16 am

just make sure you order the right size (the US to cm size table is wrong!), money will never be returned after you send the shoe back! I sent back the shoe last year and still waiting for the reimbursement. If the size fits, the shoe is great but didnt expect to pay double for one pair.
