Number one on this list is the will to workout

  2. @kalfaxplays7899 on February 25, 2025 at 7:28 pm

my choices: push up bars, pull up bar, kettlebell, yoga ball, yoga mat, possibly dumbells, ab roller.
think these things are kinda useful.
when it comes to bigger items i just go to the gym for those.

  3. @MrDanielmahaniel on February 25, 2025 at 7:31 pm

Also 2 cheap chairs of the same height for dips are great, and most people already have them 🙂 doesn’t work as well if you are pretty tall though, the taller you are the higher chairs you need.

  4. @Susping on February 25, 2025 at 7:33 pm

For me i went with dumbbells+ weight bench. It only takes a little space and i can do all of the essential exercises on it

  5. @killerkram1337 on February 25, 2025 at 7:34 pm

well i got the leaf blower so far thats a good start

  6. @thomasrobertfitness on February 25, 2025 at 7:34 pm

I already built a home gym for a $1000 mostly from home made, home welded stuff. I’m planning to move and now I have to build an other home gym which has to be even more space friendly. I’m thinking of having the new RepxPépin adjustable dumbbell and a Rep adjustable bench. I already have a pull up bar and gym rings as well. With these I can basically do almost every movement that I’m doing right now. What do you think guys?

Great video! One small thing I’ll say is imo I don’t see the reason to get a flat bench over an adjustable one. Yes it’s fine, but they’re often very comparable on price and adjustable just gives more options

  8. @efficientfuture on February 25, 2025 at 7:36 pm

I have commercial remember tiles. I can park both of my SUV and Car on them and they don’t deform or even indent. They are great but expensive

  9. @staple_gun6367 on February 25, 2025 at 7:36 pm

    Horse stall mats are king

  10. @SpaceyStacy74 on February 25, 2025 at 7:37 pm

As a 50 year old woman, I am new here. Ladies my age should be lifting heavy weights. Maybe not starting at 35 lb. Kettlebells, maybe more like 15, but this is all great information. You could gain a wider audience by including weightlifting recommendations focused on middle age women. Lifting heavy helps fight bone loss and also helps with menopause symptoms. Can’t wait to grow my home gym based on your reviews. Thanks!

    What? No beer keg station?!

  12. @godminnette2 on February 25, 2025 at 7:40 pm

    5:53 "…a rating up to 700, 800,000 lbs"
    This man is lifting mansions.

  13. @Pranav-yu6xl on February 25, 2025 at 7:40 pm

8:38 for everyone hating on him this guy can do muscle ups… like that’s impressive as hell ❤

  14. @davidbird-tf7je on February 25, 2025 at 7:40 pm

I’d like to send you a video on my personal gym but I’m not sure how to do it can you let me know how to do it

  15. @JamesSmith-ix5jd on February 25, 2025 at 7:41 pm

My list for cheapes but most versatile:
1 Olympic rings (if you can attach them securely)
2 Kettlebell (better to have two of the same weight, for males start with 16kg, no need to go lower)
    3 Rubber bands

  16. @Jay_G94 on February 25, 2025 at 7:41 pm

    1:40 What are jerks?

  17. @dzqn on February 25, 2025 at 7:41 pm

I know this is an old post but why is no one mentioning cable stations??

  18. @rhammond7517 on February 25, 2025 at 7:42 pm

I’m sure If you have the height in your room yes a power rack I went from having someone to spot me to not having a spotter I’ve had to change my whole routine… cables machine with 200 lb and a landmine press to replace a bench press and adjustable dumbbells for the rest

  19. @amosholt2038 on February 25, 2025 at 7:44 pm

Foam square tiles are better than no protection at all. If your not lifting insane weight, then these will suffice. I’ve used them for years and no issues.

  20. @Oleg_Odarchenko on February 25, 2025 at 7:48 pm

What’s the point of blocking users from Ukraine on your website? Tried to check tried website, got denied

  21. @thomaswilkie1168 on February 25, 2025 at 7:49 pm

To pair with the leaf blower, extraction/exhaust fan set up of some description, to help pull out the airborne particles you have lifted and improve air quality. Just make sure you have a decent point for fresh air to enter.

  22. @YouFLiar on February 25, 2025 at 7:49 pm

6:49 the problem with the adjustable dumbells is, you can’t drop them.

  23. @RockCh4lk on February 25, 2025 at 7:52 pm

I got adjustable dumbells as a gift, and have an adjustable bench. That’s really all I need for my use.

  24. @SamBramah on February 25, 2025 at 7:54 pm

Building and 8m x 5m home gym if you want to review!

  25. @ΓεώργιοςΓαλανάκης-ν5ω on February 25, 2025 at 7:54 pm

With a good adjustable bench and dumbbells you can grow at least 90-95% of your peak!!!

  26. @mrttitude2268 on February 25, 2025 at 7:57 pm

recently tried Alpino Rolled Oats and Peanut Butter, and it changed my weight loss game! Packed with protein, fiber, and deliciousness, they’re the perfect solution for anyone wanting to lose weight without giving up taste.

  27. @remlya on February 25, 2025 at 7:59 pm

The irony of recommending an effortless leaf blower for a home gym when a broom would accomplish the same task and provide some form of exercise.

  28. @JOShaugh87 on February 25, 2025 at 8:00 pm

I would add TRX bands… pretty darn versatile (even though they are pricey). I second the leaf blower! Gotta keep dust and crap out and its the fastest way lol

  29. @JDRuleZZ1 on February 25, 2025 at 8:00 pm

Toootally agree. What do u think would a basic equipment like that cost?
What do u think about cable machines for pull exercises?

  30. @mr.random8447 on February 25, 2025 at 8:00 pm

    Can’t even afford a home

  31. @madrid1010 on February 25, 2025 at 8:02 pm

Is there another name for “horse stall mats”? Is it a rubber mat?

  32. @MrDanielmahaniel on February 25, 2025 at 8:06 pm

I agree with the body weight exercise comment, when I first started at 14/15, it was push up variations and an empty gallon of Gatorade filled with water. Once my foundation was built, and workouts started taking a very long time to feel tired, I moved on to a regular gym membership, where I truly flourished with all the different equipment. Now that gym memberships have gotten absolutely crazy expensive, I made my home gym. Biggest thing for me so far is wanting a pull up bar. My basement ceilings are too short, and it gets cold where I am at, not the most convenient to go outside. The door frame ones suck, I’ve tried a few different types. Going to my sporting goods store today to see if I can figure something out.

  33. @fatinahmed5406 on February 25, 2025 at 8:06 pm

Id argue dumbells over barbell, with dumbbells not only can u do bench press, u can also so split squats, curls, lateral raises, and rows. Its a lot more versatile than barbell in my opinion

  34. @TheRooflesstoofless on February 25, 2025 at 8:07 pm

9:17 what kind of sled can push around on concrete!?

  35. @jlirving on February 25, 2025 at 8:08 pm

I think it’s more important to get an adjustable bench because of the additional exercises it allows you to do. I got a good flat bench first because it was important for my training to have the best possible flat experience but I’m now suffering not having an incline function.

  36. @sergiomarquezgomez8356 on February 25, 2025 at 8:08 pm

I would add a back extension bench to the list

  37. @chillertechtexas4375 on February 25, 2025 at 8:09 pm

    Horse stall mats! Winning

  38. @Ed.232 on February 25, 2025 at 8:10 pm

bro missed out on the leg press hack squat combo

  39. @jyeeeee on February 25, 2025 at 8:11 pm

    Home gym essentials:
    Adjustable dumbbells
    Barbell

    Thats it.

  40. @mohamedabdulla4190 on February 25, 2025 at 8:12 pm

I honestly thing those electronic cable pods are really all you need.

  41. @aniqahassan9249 on February 25, 2025 at 8:13 pm

Can we get an updated video

  42. @rexifer7312 on February 25, 2025 at 8:13 pm

why is there no rope related excercise machine ??
like Lat pulldown or rope pushdown machine ??

  43. @XDWX on February 25, 2025 at 8:18 pm

I can’t believe you said a leaf blower. This is one of the first videos I watched to start a home gym and a leaf blower was already on my mind.

  44. @hkgonra on February 25, 2025 at 8:19 pm

I’m getting bumper plates for between .55 and .80 a pound. Can you get steel that cheap ?

  45. @erniefigueroa20 on February 25, 2025 at 8:20 pm

So this is where the Steve Rogers of this timeline has been all this time…it is Coop!

  46. @Jack-yh9st on February 25, 2025 at 8:22 pm

Bro what the hell was some of this advice lol

  47. @catex5452 on February 25, 2025 at 8:22 pm

If you’re on a budget or have limited space etc. just get a pair of dumbells and a bench. This way you can hit every muscle. You can Bench, OHP, Preacher Curl, Row, ticeps kickback, RDL, bulgarian split squat, lateral raise etc. You can do way more than with a barbell. If you want to back squat and deadlift regular you need it though.

  48. @Brahlam on February 25, 2025 at 8:23 pm

    Step 1, being a Millionaire…

  49. @Dani-it5sy on February 25, 2025 at 8:24 pm

If they don’t ban filming in gyms soon this video will get a lot more views. I was about to start at a gym 200m from my home. It was all planned and perfect. But I found out they allow filming. But not allowed to film others. That’s not good enough for me. So I changed the plan and will build a home gym. Maybe with some mates. And I figured out I can build a super gym for the money I save on the gym subscription. Maybe 2 years and it’s all for free 😂

  50. @theeightbitdad on February 25, 2025 at 8:25 pm

I use a leaf blowers after almost every workout. Makes it so easy and keeps it looking nice.
