I started barley eating out & eating good (still very protein &healthy) food at home lost 6 pounds with barely an exercise even with my thyroid and pocos that makes it harder to lose weight for me! Starting my journey soon

I had to click out when you said 155 😂 girl that’s my goal weight and I’m 5’1

  4. @crystalgraves9325 on September 9, 2025 at 9:11 am

Zone 2 cardio is soooo counterintuitive. You are the person who suggested it in my life first. I haven’t seen any weight loss yet but I’m trusting you ❤ only been focusing on it for a couple weeks. 5’0” , Started at 168 July 1, goal is 130/135. I know it will probably take a long time tho.

Discipline is so important! I count 80% consistancy as success, helps me keep starting again if my actions aren’t prefectly to plan.

I’ve started holding myself accountable. Especially with eating sugary snacks. I was doing so well and then fell into an addiction to sweets. Once I started holding myself accountable I stopped eating candy and sweets.

I know this comment is coming a year later than this video was posted, but I love your videos and I’m so thankful I found your channel. I’m 4’8” around 155-160 lbs, and having some representation out here on the internet for us really short girls, feels good. I was also a cheerleader, I miss that exercise and how competitive I used to be. Thank you so much for putting yourself out there in the world for us short girlies to find. ❤

Im 5’0" and postpartum I hit 193 and it was NOT CUTE! im down to like 165 but I kinda stalled because of the exhaustion of 2 under 2, and you mentioning 155 totally hit me hard. Now I’m just like "I’ll just get to 154 and see how I feel" just to break the complacency in me.

I’ve had a plan to myself to wake up at 5am to workout and have “me times before class and work.. which I have a stable morning routine but i have difficulty waking up consistently. I’m the type that starting is the hardest, as soon as I do I grab on but tweaking up early has been a hugee difficulty in changing as a habit. Anyone have tips to help sleep better and wake up easier?

Thank you so much for this video! It was super helpful and I can relate a ton. It’s helpful to know both sides feeling your fittest and a time of gaining weight too. I have a similar story and it’s been super humbling and has helped me implement healthy habits. Can’t wait for more videos!

  34. @jaquelinemythril2602 on September 9, 2025 at 9:44 am

Ok, Ok, fire advice on the needing time to be gentle will make the journey back to health so much longer!!
My health took a big hit in 2023 (when my chronic illness fully manifested), and I needed grace with it. I’ve been working towards building healthy habits since mid-2024, and it’s been on and off, and it’s so hard!! I got sick for 6+ weeks at the start of 2025 and had to restart AGAIN. I’ve got this though, and not giving up.
(And, just less than a year before I got my chronic illness fully, I was doing acrobatics and hitting the weights multiple times a week!!)

It’s so hard staying on top of fitness but they don’t call it a journey for nothing. The ups and downs are hard but part of the discipline is no matter how long you fall of you find your way to come back and keep going.
I’ve been trying to lose all the weight I gained in my almost 3 year relationship (30 lbs). I was 115-117 when I got together with my boyfriend and I’m 5’2” and in my late 20s. By the time I was around 148-149 I was devastated how I let things get that bad so before I could get to the 150s, I made a vow to start losing the weight and getting fit again.
That was last July and my goal by this summer was to lose all 30 pounds and.. well I only lost about 10. I’m still proud of the progress I’ve made but those fluctuations are so discouraging and my progress was not as great as I thought it would be by now but a lot of life was happening and I kept having to take breaks to come back to it. I’m about 140 now and I feel a lot better about my body image and energy levels than I had been feeling but not super great still. I’m not giving up for anything!!! If not this summer definitely an eventual one someday. I’m going to take care of my body for the rest of my life and that’s all that matters ❤
One thing that’s been keeping me back on track whenever I get lost is watching videos like these so thank you for sharing and helping us keep up the motivation we need ✨
Things holding me back incase anyone is curious to relate: stress from work, relationship struggles, sporadic daily schedule in general, inconsistent sleep, and really long pms cycles that make me fatigued and have cravings for junk most of the month cycle.

  40. @sonyaphillips4634 on September 9, 2025 at 9:52 am

    ❤❤

  41. @rebecca31d224 on September 9, 2025 at 9:56 am

Thank you so much for these tips❤❤❤
Hit protein goal: divide daily goal by your number of meals and hit that number first before filling out your other macros (ex 130g goal: 20-30g snack/pre workout, 3 meals w 33-37g)
Cut calories but feel full: Eat more veggies!!! Frozen veg stir fry with some lean protein! Potatoes with fat free greek yogurt instead of sour cream and salsa (potatoes are highly satiating so you will feel good and salsa’s are surprisingly low cal). Also if you need to cut more calories, have some squash as your carb, it’s only 40 calories for 100 grams! Strawberries are also super low in calories: buy frozen to save money❤
Blend low fat cottage cheese or greek yogurt with cocoa powder until smooth, add some monkfruit sweetener or dates or frozen strawberries, tastes like cake batter.
Consider flexing up to maintenance calories the week before your period OR the week of your period for emotional stability, hormone balance, stress management and as a tool to stick to your overall long-term goals.
Another thing that helped me eat more nutritious food *happily* was thinking that I’m also ‘eating my skincare’/’food is medicine’.
    YOU CAN DO IT🎉🎉🎉

Hey I just started YouTube. I love this video. I really needed the information needed to get myself back on track to my weight loss journey. I am a single mother and I always find myself forgetting about what I need. I have been creating routine even with kiddos and hope to share that journey as well.

    Giving yourself grace ≠ excuses

  45. @Notesfrombritt on September 9, 2025 at 9:59 am

I’m 4’11” and hit a weight that I’m just NOT okay with. When you’re this height it just looks COMPLETELY different.

  48. @sophiam5898 on September 9, 2025 at 10:03 am

Imma save this for later after I eat my snack and have my nap with YouTube playing in the back. Rest first, accountability later. 😭

You did this a year ago but it’s helping me with the exact things I’ve been trying to implement in my life. Absolutely loved this thank you! Trying to get my discipline together with eating habits and fitness is my top source of insecurity right now and I desperately want to be a different person in those areas especially now that I’m 26😭 I’m not getting any younger
