AMINO ACID SUPPLEMENTS! BCAA (Branched-Chain Amino Acid) Benefits Explained by ER Doctor. Doctor Wagner explains 20 amino acids, what are amino acids, amino acids benefits, amino acids for muscle growth, branched-chain amino acids, BCAA benefits, essential amino acids, and many other varieties of functions of amino acids explained. Are amino acids the answer to how to lose weight fast? Amino acids are needed for vital processes like the building of proteins, synthesis of hormones, and neurotransmitters. Some may also be taken in supplement form for a natural way to boost athletic performance or improve mood. A popular amino acid supplement, BCAA supplements, can build muscle, decrease muscle fatigue, and alleviate muscle soreness. There are 20 different amino acids that are categorized as essential amino acids: conditionally essential amino acids, and nonessential amino acids. There are nine essential amino acids: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. Of the nine essential amino acids, three are the branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs): leucine, isoleucine, and valine. Have you experienced any BCAA before and after health results? Let Doctor Wagner know in the comments below if you’ve ever tried any amino acid supplements and leave him your BCAA review below. Thanks so much for watching. Stay healthy, my friends!

Why would you take BCAA when WHEY protein is superior , WHEY proteins contain all 20 amino acids whereas BCAA are only 3 but you need all 9 essential to make proteins

I was taking these for about 4 weeks at half the maximum dose. I started itching on my shoulders and 4 weeks in, I had the most intense head itching. I googled it, and it turns out this is very common. 2 weeks later, and still a bit itchy, and I’ve completely stopped taking it.

I need help I hurt so bad and dr don’t believe cuz my blood pressure is always low. I have a couple pomegranate seed shaped knots in my groin, and the lumps underside of my bicep are bigger and harder and more painful. I’m tired of injections and steroids. I have fibromyalgia, femoracetabular impingement syndrome, bursitis in both shoulders and both hips, torn rotator cuff, sciatica, charlie horse spasms everywhere even my face (that hasn’t happened in awhile though and when it occured it left me with bells palsy for awhile.i know am forgetting more…but because I’ve been through a lot of trauma and have mental health issues they used to give me shots of haldol or hospitalize me because I’m so tired of the pain by this point I don’t want to be here anymore and they don’t understand putting me in the psych unit just puts me where I can’t have pain treated anymore and that is what is making me want to not be here fix the pain fix the emotional despair…I mean this is insurmountable levels of pain…and most people don’t know I’m in it because 19 year marriage and I had kids and I know how to hide it from my kids but at this point i cant hide it anymore…however my writhing in pain looks like a lot of the videos you see online of people on horrible drugs i never done before, nor have ever had the desire to try. I’m tired of being judged for knowing what works for me thc is God sent. I just have to find the right strain and I’m good…but few understand just not in doctor field here. Soon I’ll move…and disappear off the net…and live happily ever after…

I use BCAA’s each day. But people with diabetes, preexisting mental health conditions, or maple syrup urine disease (MSUD) should avoid taking BCAA supplements.

  40. @theflats540 on July 20, 2025 at 6:08 am

I was following everything he was saying til he mentioned a product that mix caffeine and creatine….caffeine and creatine is not a good mix. Caffeine decreases the effect of creatine and no way this guy is a real doctor promoting that product

People most often look to amino acids for muscle growth. I learned that L Luicine is the one amino acid that builds muscle. Research this and you will see. Thats why I purchased just L Luicine in a powder by itself.
