Biceps are all about good repetitions ensuring you’re getting a full stretch and full peak contraction on every rep. Don’t get so caught up in how heavy you’re lifting for the younger guys. I know we so like to throw some heavy weights around when doing curls, but from my experience biceps respond better to moderately heavy weights with super strict quality reps. I like to keep it around 8 – 12 reps per set of each exercise going heavy enough so that I can only get 12 on set 1, 10 on set 2, and 8 on set 3. Often times immediately after my 3rd set of 8 reps I will do a drop set doing a couple drops doing as many reps as I can on each drop and that works great for me. I’m usually doing 4 exercises in this fashion for biceps and 4 exercises for triceps as well doing 3 all out working sets for each exercise 2x a week with 3 days rest in between.

This didnβt happen overnight but if you do this workout and start with light weight, eat right and yes work out a lot which is what heβs done eventually youβll see the results!! I respect his hard work, Iβve been there it works! Donβt assume and disrespect someone for their hard work! Itβs obviously people that never work out right or even at all!!

That’s great if for those that prioritize aesthetics. Calisthenics, hill repeats, and rope skipping work best for me at 53 and ectomorph dominant. Plus outside work is free. Just a personal preference.
