Creatine is a scam. Studies that show benefits barely show anything and that’s at super high doses with people not like you. There’s a reason it’s not banned in the Olympics. The reason: it’s not “performance enhancing.” But yeah, keep wasting your money. It’s your right.

Creatine is canceled out by caffeine. Don’t take them together, space them out by at least 30 min.

Bedtime ritual for me. Dry scoop, lots of water so I’m well hydrated and a good piss before getting into bed. For me, bed time is the only consistent part of my day. So most supplements I take get crushed then 🙂
If creatine has any effect on the mitochondria, then yes, it would have an ergonomic effect on your workout.
I take my dose with my premix at 6:30 every morning before a 5k run. So even on days I don’t run, it’s still part of my "wake up" routine.

I’m a little confused with creatine. It’s exploded on to my feed and I’ve watched a tonne of videos on it. (Probably therein lies my problem).
Should I take a scoop of it neat or add to warm water? Can I mix with a post workout / lunchtime protein shake or take with a meal that has some carbs? Empty stomach matters when taking creatine? I take marine collagen powder with camu camu (vit c) with water first thing in the morning upon waking before my workout on the rebounder – can I add the creatine to that and take altogether?
I’m a female. Recently started lifting weights (squats, bp, deadlifting) sometimes in the afternoon or in the evening but not regularly as I have a lot of stress in my life and not sleeping or eating as well as I know I should (going through the divorce process).
So that I can best incorporate the creatine in to my life as I get a new daily routine going, how and when should I take it? Better still, how and when does Dr Krystal take hers?
