  11. @tornado_dude2039 on March 25, 2025 at 7:35 pm

valid list. i take creatine, ashwagandha, a multivitamin (because i have no clue what to use) and sometimes pre workout if i don’t feel like working out. at the end of the day i take magnesium, maybe ashwagandha if i miss it in the morning, and melatonin to help me sleep and stay asleep for recovery.

i’ve been trying to figure out what works for me and those are the only ones that feel like they make a difference. most of my other vitamins i get from the foods i eat.

I don’t really know what else to use, but my doctor said what I’m doing is perfectly fine and is contributing to helping me recover.

  34. @Imnobachelor on March 25, 2025 at 8:02 pm

If I’m 6’4 275 not necessarily on the FAT side but maybe about 20 pounds over weight do you think creatine is for me?

  40. @bleach_drink_me on March 25, 2025 at 8:11 pm

Multi vitamin, creatine, pre workout of choice(if at all) and make sure you hit your macros with mostly good whole foods.

All you really need. Not that his list is massive but if you are eating well and sleeping well, you aren’t going to be missing much.

Supplements are merely the cherry on top 🍒 ABSOLUTELY NOTHING replaces the following: which are CHIEFLY responsible for “looking” how you want to look.
    1) Training properly on a great plan with HIGH effort (Like my program on my Training App) > https://www.myliftfitness.com/training-app
    2) Eating properly
    3) Sleeping enough

Don’t think that supplements are THE answer to changing how you look. They are not. They can be an augmentation to an already great set of habits that you have in place (the ones I listed above) MASTER THOSE FIRST.

Understand this is merely a list of what I use & and not a list of what YOU should take. I just want to provide you with an idea of what someone like
me (who takes their training/diet as seriously as possible) takes in terms of supplements/vitamins/minerals. This isn’t to say that there are not other great supps out there, but these are what I currently use. Do your own research & consult your physician.

    SUPPLEMENTS LIST:
    * Vitamin D: good for immune health, bones & potentially hormones

    * Vitamin C: used to make collagen (forms body tissues) can aid healing overall

    The RYSE Supps
    * Sunny D Pre Workout: Helps focus, energy, and can help blood flow (sometimes I’ll add a pump supplement to this like the Ryse pump caps)
    * Creatine Monohydrate: Boosts gym performance
    * Protein Powder: some say it’s a food, some say it’s a supplement- I don’t really care. I use it in great tasting recipes to fill in the gaps of what I don’t get from meat, eggs etc. My favorite flavor is the cinnamon toast 🤤
Buy those here code: Davis for 15% off 👉🏼 https://rysesupps.com/collections/supplements

    * Beetroot Powder: Supports endurance

    * Zinc: Immune system, healing, can support hormones

    * Magnesium: Can support muscle, nerves, energy production & hormones

    * Fish Oil: (omega 3’s) cardio health (lungs, heart, blood vessels etc.)

    * Hawaiian Spirulina: has vitamins A, K, B12, and some antioxidants. I put this stuff into the “who knows how well this works, but it can’t hurt” category. Beware – it tastes kinda gross
