Yes! Don’t bother calling it weight loss, you won’t lose much weight if you lift weights. Two years ago I gained 10 lbs after christmas that wasn’t coming off, so I started lifting weights and gained about 18 more lbs! My waist is the same as before, but shoulders and legs/booty are toned and I look healthier. And normal stuff around the farm isn’t too hard for me anymore.
How about for people with hypothyroidism? Since Ive had it, my upper body is so bulky and ive been made fun of how big i am. What can i do to lose upperbody fat without bulking?

I incorporate strength training on TUES-THURS- SAT plus 1.5 mile walk on my treadmill and Pilates.
On M-W-F I do 3 miles on just CARDIO only days. Plus my Pilates. And do 250 steps on my mini stepper.
Sundays I just have an active rest day and chill and do Pilates stretches for flexibility and mobility, to get ready for the upcoming pump for the week β¨ this has worked for me for a couple of weeks now and I feel stronger everyday
P.S. DONT SLEEP ON PILATES! It helps with core strength and other things β¨
I love your advice Im a little over weight now because I stopped working out with hand weights at home but I had a female six pack toned body with 1/2 an hour a day work out so your definitely right β€
All the video talks about strength training, but nobody showing how to do it. Well I guess I can google huh? π€ π
