POWHER Pre-workout for Women – I Gave it a Try!

Decided to switch things up today and tried the POWHER Pre-Workout for Women. Loved it! Hit a personal record today for splat points during my Orange Theory Fitness workout. Ran faster, lifted heavier and rowed harder, burned 575 cals and got 42 splats!

I felt great, especially during my run it just seemed to make it feel easy, like I was floating along on a runner’s high. My push pace is normally 6 – 6.5 and today I was flying at 7-7.5 and went to 9.5 for my all out run.

I felt almost a bit giddy and hyper going into class but in a GOOD way. I normally drink Keto Max everyday (and still do) but just wanted to give this supplement a try. I like confusing my body sometimes and it’s good to switch things up.

It’s specifically formulated for women in that it’s not jacked with 3x the caffeine like a man’s supplement and doesn’t contain creatine which is what draws the water into your muscles and makes you look jacked. (Don’t get me wrong, creatine can be good, but this just doesn’t have it).

Powher contains only 100 grams of caffeine, so it didn’t make me feel jittery and I didn’t have any problem getting to sleep.

Here’s an overview of what POWHER Preworkout for Women has in it (this is not the whole ingredients list, just the highlights):

-smaller dose of caffeine – 100 grams.
– Taurine – helps w/focus and reduces jitters when mixed with caffeine
-Tyrosine – helps with focus and cognition
-Beta alanine – increases endurance – this is what can give you that “tingly” feeling sometimes with a preworkout, but it only has 1 grams so again, better dose for women and I didn’t feel tingles.
-B vitamins – always good for extra energy, especially if you’re low on B like me
-EnExtra – stimulant free plant based energy boost
-Oxyjun – bark extract, helps with oxygen uptake
-Rednite – beetroot extract, helps with endurance and power output

Those last 3 ingredients is sort of what makes Powher different in its formula. It’s sort of old school ingredients mixed with some new ones.

Overall I would recommend Powher Pre-workout for Women if you’re just looking for a solid preworkout boost because I crushed my workout with more power, so it did its job!
